Our story
What started with an aspiration for a dynamic educational journey filled with global exposure birthed an organisation levelled to address the growing dilemma of Southeast Asian youth’s lacklustre thought for sustainability. Originating from the mind of Kuala Lumpur born and reared, Jeffrey Amirul, he assembled a team of 23 purposeful university students spanning across Malaysia to lay the initial foundations for the SEA Youth Sustainability Summit 2023.
Following the success of SEA YSS23, the idea of SEAmply bloomed, bringing in the aforementioned core team that brought you SEA YSS23. The longevity of an organisation thrives not only on its business acumen but in the humanitarian notion within its objectives, too. The addition of Athirah Azlan, who brings the pedagogical thought of sustainability into SEAmply, was the final piece of the puzzle.
